When Sanjay Reddy, Chanda Kochhar took university lessons again

It was an august gathering of some of the big names in business — GVK’s Sanjay Reddy, ICICI Bank’s Chanda Kochhar, Myntra’s Ananth Narayanan and Sun Mobility’s Chetan Maini, among others, at a luxury South Mumbai hotel last week.

What got them all under one roof? Their alma mater University of Michigan’s 200th anniversary celebration.

The event, we are told, was emotionally charged, with attendees reminiscing about their varsity days.



It was perhaps even more special for Reddy, since it was also his birthday.

The highlight of the event though, was university dean Scott De Rue’s speech on the leadership lessons he learnt during his expedition to Mount Everest.

Once a teacher, always a teacher.
