When Salman Khan's co-star did not get paid, how he handled the situation left everyone surprised

Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s most admired stars, has often been praised not only for his screen presence but also for his loyalty toward those he works with. Actress Sheeba Akashdeep recently revealed an incident that highlighted his firm stance on fairness.

Speaking to Filmigyan, she recalled that during a stage show with Salman, she and a few other performers had not received their payments, even as the event neared its conclusion.

Backstage, the performers were discussing their concern when Salman noticed the conversation and asked what was wrong. On learning that his co-artists had yet to be paid, despite him already receiving his share, he immediately called the organiser. According to Sheeba, Salman made it clear that unless their payments were settled, he would not step on stage. His decisive action ensured that the organisers cleared the dues, reflecting his reputation for standing by colleagues when needed.

Guidance in Personal Life

Sheeba also shared that Salman’s influence extended beyond professional matters. In an earlier conversation with Pinkvilla, she spoke about how he helped her with one of the most significant decisions of her life—marriage. She recalled introducing her partner, Akash, to Salman and telling him about her plans to marry. She said Salman was supportive and reassured her that she was making the right choice.

Sheeba explained that Salman advised her not to delay the decision any further, especially since her husband had already made efforts to build a career in films with projects like Rangeela and Miss 420, which didn’t work out. She described his words as sound advice at a time when she was very young and uncertain. Looking back, she called it the perfect guidance, as she realised one cannot keep pushing endlessly against challenges.

On the work front, Salman Khan is preparing for his next big release, The Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The war drama revisits the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers—a rare confrontation fought without firearms. Instead, the troops engaged in brutal hand-to-hand combat with sticks and stones, making it one of the most striking chapters in recent Indian history.
