When Raymond MD Gautam Singhania tried power boating!
Raymond MD Gautam Singhania’s love for cars is no secret and recently, the industrialist tried his hand at another wheel — power boating. Sporting blue jeans, a long sleeves scuba diving T-shirt and his Formula One helmet, Singhania was overheard telling Welsh powerboat racer Sam Coleman that he had to leave his Formula One suit behind given the blistering March heat.

And just like his passion for cars, he took a fancy to the boat too, swapping from the navigator seat to the pilot’s seat within minutes.

“I would have liked more time with the powerboats. It’s a lot like an F1 car.” Singhania told Coleman, having driven both. Coleman, a half-hearted nod later, said that he couldn’t agree since he has never driven an F1 car.
