When Nita Ambani & Ranbir Kapoor carried their own umbrellas across a football field

She is a leading business name and he, a movie star. But on a rainy Saturday afternoon, for all their bodyguards and staff, Nita Ambani and Ranbir Kapoor proudly carried their own umbrellas across a football field. At the launch of the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports, Nita Ambani, a member of the International Olympic Committee, kicked off an ambitious multi-discipline pan-India school and college sports programme. Nita wore a jersey emblazoned with her name, before donning a hoodie and posing for pictures. Ranbir, an avid footballer, came wearing a suit sans a tie. The two chatted animatedly throughout, all the while holding their own umbrellas on the open stands right through the event. In the spirit of sport, nothing could rain on their parade.
