When Neymar Jr's Instagram post led to a full day of panic & conspiracy theories

A photo that Barcelona-turned-PSG star Neymar Jr recently shared stirred the hornet’s nest, with fans speculating about his return to the Barca fold. Neymar’s cryptic caption added fuel to the fire: “When my friend #LeoMessi and I get together big things happen!”.

Given his multi-billion PSG deal last summer, the photo was followed by a full day of panic, conspiracy theories and a fair bit of name-calling.

However, it turns out, this was all about an ad campaign that the two stars recently signed. And the photo? It’s from Messi’s wedding last year.
