Jaycee Chan’s recent indictment has left superstar dad Jackie ashamed. A look at who else left their family red-faced:

When son Jaycee was indicted on drug charges and "sheltering others to take drugs" in China, Jackie offered the public "a deep bow of apology". The Rush Hour star said he hopes that his son would one day become an anti-drug spokesman and share his experiences.




Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen

While Martin campaigned and dabbled in liberal politics, son Charlie overdosed on cocaine, assaulted his former wife Brooke Muller, trashed Plaza hotel and had a highly publicised meltdown where he called himself a "warlock" with "tiger blood". Need we say more?




Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy’s wholesome country musician-entertainer image has taken a beating after daughter Miley broke free of her Hannah Montana image. Miley is an avid supporter of cannabis, even smoking a joint on stage while accepting an award. She reportedly spat on her fans in Mexico, misused the Mexican flag and posted controversial posts in favour of the Free the Nipple campaign. This might be getting a little out of hand for ol’ Billy.




Alia Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt

The rising star of Bollywood soon found herself dealing with much worse than ‘Yo Alia so dumb’ jokes. She sparked off controversy for participating in the B’town extravaganza in UP’s Saifai village, which is close to the scene of the Muzaffarnagar riots, where victims were struggling due to lack of rehabilitation funds. In an interview, Bhatt senior said that it was his failing as a father to not have known better.



Cameron Douglas and Michael Douglas

The Wall Street actor is hardly the epitome of well-behaved, but things went a bit too south for the actor’s son Cameron, who was given five years in the clink for dealing in meth and directing his girlfriend to smuggle him drugs in a toothbrush. Papa Michael and Grandpa Kirk were also given a scolding by the judge at the time of sentencing for going easy on the boy.
