When Lookup founder Deepak Ravindran sat on Jack Dorsey’s chair
Deepak Ravindran, who founded Bengaluru-based startup Lookup, had a chance to enjoy a moment in Twitter cofounder Jack Dorsey’s chair recently. Except, it wasn’t Dorsey’s chair in the corner office. Instead it was one that the Twitter CEO may have occupied on his grooming visits to his barber’s in New York’s West Village.

Ravindran recently shared an image of himself, getting a haircut at Geno’s Barberia, which has the reputation of being the barber to stars like Daniel Day Lewis. Geno’s definitely has Dorsey’s vote. He has tweeted on multiple occasions in the past about his loyalty to the proprietor, Dzenad Bicic. Geno’s is now the second connector between Dorsey and Ravindran. The first one was Twitter’s co-founder Biz Stone, one of Lookup’s investors. Perhaps, there was a personal recommendation involved after all.
