When Harbhajan Singh and MS Dhoni were caught on a sticky wicket
Cricketers Harbhajan Singh and MS Dhoni were recently at the receiving end of homebuyers' ire after reports of a building company facing insolvency started to make the rounds. Both Singh and Dhoni were once brand ambassadors of the real estate firm.

Although the two had publicly terminated their association, the affected homebuyers vented their anger at them on social media, saying the cricketers had received free villas from the builder.

While Dhoni did not respond to posts, Singh took to Twitter to explain that they were tricked into promoting the brand and they hadn't received any villas. To the claim that Dhoni was "good friends" with the group's president, Singh responded: "He could be his friend but not mine… so you better ask him not me…use ur brain if u have thoda sa bi [sic]."

In 2016, when Dhoni resigned from being the company's brand ambassador, Singh had supported the move and also shared that they did not receive the villas promised by the group af ter India won the 2011 cricket World Cup.

When contacted, Singh said he was busy with Ganpati celebrations, but added that he had spoken his mind in his social media posts.
