When Bengaluru got a taste of Michelin-star style chef Atul Kochhar's Peruvian flavours
Michelin-star chef Atul Kochhar introduced Bengaluru to the pleasures of Peruvian cuisine last week.

His Mumbai-based restaurant hosted a pop up dinner at a five-star hotel in the IT city. Some prominent residents stopped by for a taste.

Nandan Nilekani ( Infosys) and Kiran Mazumdar Shaw (Biocon) joined in the culinary adventure.

Shaw even tweeted a picture of the two with the man of the moment, chef Kochhar.

What happened next is something that everyone who posts and shares updates on social media is familiar with. A friend who wasn’t invited got upset.

Good naturedly, Mohandas Pai ribbed Shaw for not inviting him. And to make up for that, he even demanded a treat.

Though Shaw responded that she was an invitee herself, that treat may well be around the corner.

Just another reason to catch up with old friends.

Kochhar also had another pop up dinner over the weekend in the city, where Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were spotted enjoying a gourmet dinner for two, the chef’s team shared.
