When Anand Mahindra chose 'colourful socks' to meet Justin Trudeau

While Trudeau rocked red socks with his suit, Mahindra went with a sombre tone.

Anand Mahindra’s name might be synonymous with one of the biggest car companies in India, but it looks like his two daughters won’t be dropping into any of the showrooms to buy a car. Why? They use Uber. Mahindra has said that his daughters don’t know how to drive and went on explain how congestion has changed car usage patterns, especially among the new generation.

But while they may not know how to drive, his daughters certainly know a thing or two about fashion, so much so that Mahindra said that they would be “dismayed” at his fashion choices during his recent meeting with Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.

Mahindra tweeted that he hadn’t picked out “appropriately colourful socks for the occasion”. While Trudeau, true to his style, rocked red socks with his suit, Mahindra went with a sombre tone himself.
