Divya Khosla Kumar is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Ek Chatur Naar with Neil Nitin Mukesh. In a candid chat with Archana Puran Singh, her husband Parmeet Sethi, and son Aaryamann Sethi, the actress-director, who is married to Bhushan Kumar, the head of T-Series, revealed that she sometimes shot near a gutter and spent a month in the slums.
Director Umesh Shukla, who was also present, revealed they shot in a “real slum.” Divya revealed she shot a scene near a dirty drain and, after a point, got used to the foul odour.
For the unversed, Divya’s husband, Bhushan Kumar, is worth a whopping Rs 10,000 crore as per the Hurun Rich List. They are the wealthiest family not just in Bollywood but in the entire Indian showbiz, according to a Mint report.
Ek Chatur Naar (which translates to A Clever Woman) is an upcoming darkly comic thriller in Hindi, penned by Himanshu Tripathi and directed by Umesh Shukla. The film is being produced under the banner of Merry Go Round Studios, with T-Series presenting it to audiences. Leading the cast are Divya Khosla Kumar and Neil Nitin Mukesh, who step into pivotal roles that drive the story forward.
The movie is slated for a theatrical release on 12 September 2025. Set in the rustic charm of a quiet Indian town, the narrative centers around a strikingly beautiful woman who appears simple and innocent on the surface but conceals a razor-sharp mind beneath her exterior. Her personality blends ambition with craftiness, enabling her to outwit those in her orbit with ease.
