WhatsApp will soon allow users to disable notifications for calls, rolls out feature on Windows beta
WhatsApp is pushing an update for beta users that will allow them to mute notifications.

As per recent reports, WhatsApp is pushing an update for beta users that will allow them to mute notifications for incoming calls in case they do not want to receive the call notification or want to be disturbed.
Several times the DND feature on WhatsApp doesn't work or fails due to network glitches or some other bug, in such cases, the 'Disable Notifications for Calls' features will become useful for users who do not want to be spammed with alerts on their device.
WhatsApp has now released the feature for beta testers which is available on WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2250.4.0 update, the WABetaInfo report said. The tech giant will soon start rolling out the feature for more users over the coming days.
How The Feature Works:
In order to switch on the 'Disable Notifications for Calls' feature on WhatsApp, users need to follow these steps:
Go to your WhatsApp account, open the Settings and click on the notifications tab.
Meanwhile, the tech giant on Monday also introduced a new feature called the 'Accidental delete' feature, which helps users rectify the messages that they deleted just for themselves by mistake on WhatsApp.
Several times we send a wrong message on WhatsApp or an embarrassing text that wasn’t meant to be delivered, and in such cases, we sometimes create more mess by clicking on the ‘Delete for me’ feature instead of hitting the ‘Delete for everyone’ button.
To solve this issue, the ‘Accidental Delete’ feature will help users by providing a five-second window to reverse the accidental message delete, and click on 'Delete for Everyone'.
