WhatsApp update lets you delete media files straight from the chat
Ever since WhatsApp has been bought by Facebook for a whopping $19 billion, there have been constant updates that are making it a better experience for users. If you haven’t updated your WhatsApp messenger from Google Play Store in a long time, you are probably missing out on a few good things.

With the help of the latest update from WhatsApp, you can cut a lot of clutter from this app.

First and foremost, the latest update lets you delete media files from your chat and gallery simultaneously. If you are fed up of having to delete the unwanted images and videos from your gallery to make it clutter-free, this update will surely bring a smile on your face.

While iOS had an option to do this earlier as well, Android users will now be relieved. Another feature added from this update lets you add an option to show or hide notifications when you mute a group chat.

You will also be able to see the count of unread messages on your home-screen. This update, however, is only for Samsung devices. For this option to work, you need to have the WhatsApp icon on your home-screen.
