WhatsApp desktop app launches public beta version for users. Here's how you can get it

To meet the rising demand, Facebook-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp has been adding new features to its app as well, and in the latest news, it is now launching a public beta version for desktop users.

The beta version will be available for both iOS and Android, but users will have to enroll in the public beta to try out the new features coming on WhatsApp desktop app. These users will receive all beta updates instantly and automatically.

According to several reports, the new beta version of WhatsApp will offer a whole new experience when it comes to recording voice notes. The latest feature will let users hit pause on a voice recording before sending it to their contact on chat. However, this new feature is being worked on and is under development as of now for iOS users too.




A WhatsApp spokesperson in an interview with TechRadar had informed that the new feature will also allow users to use the messaging platform without connecting their phone.

In case you run into a bug, you can report it by clicking on 'WhatsApp Desktop Settings' and then selecting 'Contact Us' option. Then simply just send a screenshot of the error to the team.

Just a few days ago, a new report had suggested that WhatsApp is introducing fresh set of emojis in the beta version for Android 2.21.16.10.

The Facebook-owned company has used their own layout to create the new emojis for the platform, which includes 'Face in Clouds', 'Heart on Fire', 'Face Exhaling' and a lot more, according to a report by WABetaInfo.
