What's keeping Mittu Chandilya busy in Ahmedabad?

A new job in a new city has managed to keep Mittu Chandilya busy these past few months. Chandilya, formerly with AirAsia, was appointed CEO, Adani Logistics, late last year and this latest stint has seen him set roots in Ahmedabad since. He was based in Bengaluru earlier.

Shortly after moving to Ahmedabad, Chandilya had told ETPanache, “Ahmedabad is really nice. Good and kind-hearted people. Been putting in 12-hour days (at work)...so will need to take more time out on the social scene soon.”

That said, he has managed to make time in his busy schedule to mentor two new tech startups. The first is “an India-based trucking app with particular aspects around creating cargo market places and back haul logistics on a tech platform”.

And the second, “based in France, is a geo-targeted networking app enabling professionals to meet up for a drink or meal when travelling for business”. Plenty to keep the young boss occupied for the moment.
