His Twitter bio says "Proud Indian." In his last Test, Tendulkar showed his patriotism with custom made tricolour grips.

-Virat Kohli

The man of the moment has taken over the baton from Sachin Tendulkar in more ways than one. His bat sports the same logo as Tendulkar in his prime.

-Andrew Symonds

The controversial Australian showed he had a heart when he used a pink grip in 2007 for breast cancer awareness. Jane McGrath, the wife of Glenn McGrath, was suffering from the ailment at the time.

-VVS Laxman

Virender Sehwag asked Laxman if he would carry a logo of his school on his bat. Laxman obliged, and even flashed it to the cameras after scoring a century.
