Either the vehicle owner takes the new vehicle to the mandir or a priest is called at the spot to break a coconut, apply kumkum and finally garland the vehicle. Something similar happened to an X-user who bought a sleek-looking futuristic black Tesla. But the vehicle ended up getting decked up for the “vaahan pooja”, which made the internet call it a “pookie cybertruck.”

A Pune-based X-user, Ashishh shared a photo of a shiny brand new Tesla car. But what grabbed the eyeballs of the internet and left them amused was the flower display on it, proving that the vehicle may have become futuristic, but traditions remain intact.

He tweeted the photo on X and wrote, “When your Tesla is futuristic, but your mom insists on Indian traditions.” The tweet has amassed more than 3 lakh views on the micro-blogging site.
