'What a joy to be married.' Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal's sweet anniversary post for wife Kiran

Billionaire Anil Agarwal never missed a chance to appreciate his family - especially the women in the family.

Time and again, the business tycoon has heaped praises on his wife Kiran Agarwal, who is also the Chairperson of Hindustan Zinc. From the time they got married to this day, Agarwal always lauds his wifey for being a constant support in his life.

Recently, the Vedanta Resources Limited Chairman took to social media to appreciate his wife on their wedding anniversary for looking out for him. He also shared a throwback picture of the duo from their youth.


The 69-year-old said that he spent his anniversary going through their wedding pictures. Mrs Agarwal, who describes herself as an author, poet and entrepreneur in her LinkedIn profile, noticed her husband's bell bottom trousers in the picture and suggested that it was time for him to change his look. She told him that bell bottom trousers were back in fashion.

Excited by her advice, the businessman said that he was lucky to have a wife who looks to improve his style and life.

"Me and my wife were going through our marriage pictures and she told me that boot-cut pants are back in fashion and I should change my style... what a joy to be married to a woman who is always looking to improve me, whether it's fashion or life. Happy anniversary, Kiran," Agarwal wrote in his tweet.


It wasn't know how many years of wedding bliss the couple were celebrating.

Agarwal's tweet about "boot-cut pants" evoked nostalgia among his 167K followers on Twitter.

His post got more than 154K views and was liked by over 3K people.

A day ago, Agarwal also took to LinkedIn to share his views on the mass lay-offs amid global uncertainty. Sharing a word of advice for businesses around the world, he said, "If there is one piece of advice I could give to our young people in business, it is this - at the heart of your business lies your most valuable asset, your people. Take care of your employees and they will take care of your business."
