WFH Diaries: Angel Broking CEO wants to celebrate with team for their hard work post-lockdown

Vinay Agrawal believes nothing is impossible as long as you have the will.

Once the lockdown is done, Vinay Agrawal plans to take his family out for a nice meal.

Vinay Agrawal, CEO, Angel Broking knows one thing for sure: humans can adapt. And well that too. “People were initially apprehensive about how is the ‘work from home’ format going to pan out. Many believed that it would dip our overall productivity. It has only increased the same. Also, if you remember, the initial week was nothing short of being surreal. Now, almost two months have passed and working from home has become the new normal for all of us,” he says.

While he’s gotten used to the new normal, the one thing he’s looking forward to once the lockdown is over to meet and celebrate with his team. “Everyone has put in a considerable hard work and toil during this period and driven the metrics to new highs. For instance, 1 lakh new customers per month have become the new norm for Angel Broking and so is the trading volume simultaneously rising. So, celebrating with the team and continuing this drive further is something that I keenly look forward to,” he shares.

On a personal note, it’s food and fitness that’s on his personal post-lockdown menu. “I would definitely start playing Squash in the morning, take my family for some good meal outside, have small outings with my kids. But, it all has to wait probably for a year. We are in no hurry,” says Agrawal.
