Welspun India's Dipali Goenka's mantra to success: Come in to work as a student every day

Dipali Goenka, CEO and joint MD, Welspun India, was resolute on creating her own space in her husband’s company. So, it comes as no surprise that her daughter Radhika Goenka (20) is keen on making her own mark in the business world too.

The older of Dipali’s two daughters is all set to introduce her lingerie business which has been in the pipeline for two years. When ETPanache had spoken to Dipali she had mentioned that B K Goenka, MD, Welspun Group, was mentoring her. Dipali had said of their bonding time, “My husband is now mentoring my older daughter. It’s wonderful seeing this relationship.


Radhika Goenka is all set to introduce her lingerie business which has been in the pipeline for two years.

If I get angry with my daughters, he tells me to be more patient. He’s just so proud of our girls.” And if there are any business lessons Radhika requires, she needs to look no further than her mother who told us, “I come into work as a student. I come in to learn every day.”
