Welcome to India: When Ashok Hinduja and wife played host for the Berklee College of Music

Ashok Hinduja (AP), chairman, Hinduja Group of Companies (India) and his wife Harsha hosted an evening filled with music, banter and food for the Berklee College of Music at their Juhu residence on May 18. The soiree was organised to celebrate the school’s India Exchange program.

The alumni of the music school and popular faces from the Indian music landscape hobnobbed over finger food and mocktails on the expansive lawns of the Hinduja residence. AP and wife Harsha took the mike to welcome the guests and share their thoughts on music. Roger Brown, the music school’s president, spoke after them.

Brown, who visited India exactly a year ago for announcing the Berklee-A R Rahman scholarship, joked about scouting properties on his visit to India. “Just in case the election results in US don’t go as planned,” he said. Assuming a Donald Trump victory being the spanner.

Brown shouldn’t worry. As AP, who responded with hearty laughter said, he’d be most welcome in India.
