Weekend tripping: When Divyank Turakhia took off to Iceland to explore lava fields
When billionaire entrepreneur Divyank Turakhia is not in China attending conferences or in Dubai at polo matches or at Ivy League institutes delivering lectures, he’s on a holiday to some exotic destination.

This time around, the volcano in Bali seems to have piqued his interest, and so, the Directi founder took off to Iceland to explore old lava fields. Calling it a ‘weekend trip’, Turakhia flew his chopper up there, with a pit stop for refueling in Newfoundland, Canada.

Turakhia also shared on social media a short video of the craters and ash from the icy, windy locale.

“Exploring old lava fields, volcanic craters, hot springs and bubbling pools of mud #icelandvolcanos,” he captioned the post.
