Wedding bells! Serena Williams looks like a princess in her $3.4 mn bridal gown

WASHINGTON: Tennis star Serena Williams wore the wedding dress of our dreams.

After three years of dating, Serena, finally tied the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in an intimate ceremony in New Orleans, reports E!Online.

The wedding gown, designed by Alexander McQueen's head designer Sarah Burton, is estimated to be £2.6 million (around $3.4 million). The tennis player shared an image of the gown on Instagram.

The groom also nailed the classy look in a Giorgio Armani tux. He shared a few pictures on Instagram with his groomsmen and his new bride.

Later, the new mum swapped the gown for a shorter white Versace dress.

Many of the 23-time Grand Slam winner's BFFs attended the wedding extravaganza.

And the most important of the guests was Alexis Ohanian Jr., the couples' first child together, who was born a little over two months ago.

Others, who were present at the wedding, to see their pal get married were, Kim Kardashian (Serena's friend since 15 years), the glamorous pair of American actress Eva Longoria and Jose Bastion, supermodel Selita Ebanks, singer Kelly Rowland and La La Anthony.

The editor-in-chief of Vogue Anna Wintour and newly engaged Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki also showed up on the special day.
