We haven't entertained sponsors becoming stakeholders in CTL: Vijay Amritraj
For Vijay Amritraj, former tennis player and promoter, CTL, answers if sponsors should become stakeholders in a sports team.

"It depends entirely on promoters and what they want to do. What kind of deal you want to formulate. We haven't entertained any of that (in the CTL).

It's like any other business arrangement. A consumer product may want to go with a mass sport, whereas a niche product might want to go with an elite sport that enjoys a smaller but better viewership. Different sponsors have different needs. It's for us then to cater the deliverable to what the sponsor requires, which is what we try to do. It's a question of going back and forth."
