We got all the five players we wanted: IPL Rajkot owner Keshav Bansal
It's easy to be the sharpest person on the dais when you are sharing it with the cricket board's Rajeev Shukla and a conservative corporate. Especially if you are fashionable like Keshav Bansal, IPL Rajkot's 23-year-old owner.

At Tuesday's player draft in Mumbai for the two new teams (Rajkot and Pune), Bansal accessorised his jacket and pants with a stud in the left ear, pocket square and a Maurice Lacroix watch.

Asked if he thought it was necessary to dress well on important days, Bansal said, "110 per cent. I'm super conscious about my dressing. It's a way for me to feel comfortable."

Nothing he wore was out of superstition. He's god-fearing yet a rationalist, and believes only in solid homework.

"I strongly believe in logical calculations," Bansal said. "We had a list of eight to nine players in order of priority. We knew they'd (Pune) go for (MS) Dhoni. We knew the other players they might go for. But we got all the five players which we wanted."

Bansal calls himself a sports nut. "I played squash and football for my university (Manchester Business School). Aur cricket to sabka pyaar hota hai."
