Waylens Secure 360: This dash cam is the best social media companion you can get

The latest inventions in the world of technology will leave you in awe.

New on the block: a dash camera for your car that will capture the best pictures on a long drive, Samsung's new and tougher version of the Galaxy S8 and an incredibly tiny smartphone that can do everything your bulky smartphone does.

Here's everything you need to know about the new launches - Waylens Secure 360, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and Nanite Micro Smartphone.

It's a good idea to get a dash cam if you drive a lot. However, most dash cameras record the road ahead or inside the car. For this purpose, they have one or two wide-angle lenses.

Waylens' idea of a dash cam is this connected, 360-degree unit that sees everything, inside or outside the car, while driving or parked. You mount it on your windshield as usual and it works like a regular dash cam while you're driving. It also has GPS so it can do things like speed overlays or detect when you get into an accident.

When you park the car, it goes into sleep until it detects some activity. Let's say someone's vandalizing your car, the camera picks up the motion, starts recording, automatically uploads the video using built in 4G and also send a notification to your phone.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active



Samsung has released a much tougher version of the popular Galaxy S8 for users who like to get a little rough with their phones.

If you thought that the S8 was a bit too delicate for you, the S8 Active might be what you need. It has a hefty metal-rubber frame and reinforced edges to take all those spills.

It still has a 5.8-inch, quad HD super amoled screen but it doesn't wrap around the sides as on the original S8.

Obviously, it retains the water proofing and comes in gray or gold. It is first being launched with AT&T in the US but you should be able to buy unlocked versions within a couple of months.

Nanite Micro Smartphone



This is a GSM phone and as you can see, it is incredibly tiny. But tiny phones have been around for a while, you say? Well, this one is a full Android smartphone, complete with 1.54-inch capacitive touchscreen and expandable memory. It's unlocked to use with any GSM network and offers full phone functionality with calls/sms, video playback, apps and Bluetooth.

There's a tiny earpiece on there so you can even hold it to your ear to make/receive calls. The whole phone weighs just 30 grams (including the 380mAh battery) so you can even use it like a watch (the watch band is an optional accessory).

The project is currently funding on Kickstarter and you can back it for a minimum of Rs 5,000 (plus shipping). Estimate delivery is in November this year.
