Watch: 'T2: Trainspotting' trailer revealed, Danny Boyle back in director's seat

It's nostalgia all oér again for Irvine Welsh fans! Twenty years after 'Trainspotting' wow-ed the world, Danny Boyle has re-united the original cast - Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle - for the sequel, 'T2: Trainspotting'. And in tune with a #ThrowbackThursday of sorts, the first look of this black comedy crime drama was revealed.

Renton, Spud, Sick Boy and Begbie, come together in the film, loosely based on the novel ' Porno' and its characters created by Irvine Welsh.

As Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place he can ever call home, Spud (Bremner), Sick Boy (Lee Miller), and Begbie (Carlyle) are waiting for him but so is sorrow, loss, joy, and vengeance.

The trailer showcases an updated version of the film’s classic voiceover, “Choose life, choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and hope that someone, somewhere cares.”

One of the most anticipated films of 2017, ' T2 Trainspotting' is scheduled to release on 27th January.
