Reykjavik, Iceland

Topping the Global Peace Index for the most peaceful country in the world, Iceland is often recommended as the destination for your first solo trip. From towering mountains to hot springs and lava fields, Iceland offers the best of nature as well as culture. Reykjavik is also known for its vibrant nightlife. The period from September to March is popular for the Northern Lights.
