Want a red Mercedes? It might be possible soon

Seems like Mercedes Benz is having a fun ride in India. Apart from posting 43 per cent growth in its second quarter (April to June), the German auto manufacturer has already launched six products this year.

Later this month, we've heard that Mercedes Benz is bringing out a special "crazy colour edition". What's that, you say? Launched globally earlier this year, G63 AMG will break through the preferred black and white colours in the SUV segment — and will come in paint choices like Solar Beam, Sunset Beam, Tomato Red, Galactic Beam, and Alien Beam.

The fluorescent colours come at a hefty price, about Rs 2 crore, and irrespective of the exterior hue, there's black Nappa leather upholstery for the interiors. Beam us up, Scotty.
