The maker of the world’s most iconic (and lazy cat) tells ET Panache, “We all need to be a little like Garfield in today’s world. I’m guessing Garfield’s blood pressure is pretty low.

“Garfield would be an advocate for slowing down, enjoying the good life, and being happy with ourselves.” As for Davis, some of the things he personally enjoys in life are wine, good food and golf.

Apart from the good things, like Garfield (who Davis says he’s 25 per cent like), he also loves, “lasagne, coffee, and cat naps”.

“I would be 70 per cent Jon -- I am sort of wishy-washy and laid-back and had college dating disasters similar to Jon’s and 5 per cent Odie. He’s not too bright, so I wouldn’t want to have too much of Odie in me, but I am pretty happy, and trusting, like Odie. And I like to chase squirrels.”
