Wait ends for Royal Enfield's special Rs 2 lakh-plus bike

Last month, Royal Enfield teased the biking community announcing a limited edition range of motorcycles; the design of which delved into the brand's military history. This week, the company disclosed the bikes will open for booking on July 15 at 10 am. Enthusiasts will have to fork out Rs 224,752 (on road Mumbai) and Rs 216,607 (on road, New Delhi) to own this special motorcycle.

The World War-inspired bike will be available in two colours in India - Desert Storm Despatch and Squadron Blue Despatch. Two hundred units of each will be manufactured for sale. A third colour - Battle Green Despatch - will also be available for sale outside India; again 200 units of the same will be produced. The motorcycles boast of a unique signature camouflage pattern and a distinctive embossed hallmark detailing the particulars of its manufacture.
