When Vivek Shared One Infallible Tip To Building Wealth
Wealth is built not just through successful business ventures but also through a smart attitude towards saving money. In a podcast with business coach Dr Vivek Bindra, the ‘Masti’ actor explained that the fail-proof way to build wealth would be to build a safety net by saving three times your annual earnings. “This has to be done so that you are sorted for the next 3-5 years,” he explained. That amount of money should be treated as an emergency fund and not be touched to fund investments or impulse purchases. When your income (and proportionately your expenses) increase, you have to maintain the ratio. The second suggestion he shared is to ensure you never spend more than you earn.
The habit of saving three times your annual earnings should never be compromised, cautions Oberoi. “No matter if you buy an RBI bond or rely on a savings account, this safety net should always be present and not tampered with. “Some things are better than a share/bond with high interest and can give you complete peace of mind,” the actor explained.
While he has been very successful as an entrepreneur, Vivek hasn’t given up his passion – acting. He will next be seen in Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming epic film ‘Ramayana’ as Raavan’s righteous brother Vibhishan.
