Vivek Oberoi joins the 'Pawri' trend, has a witty take on Mumbai Police's e-challan

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who was recently fined by the Mumbai Police for not wearing a helmet and a mask while riding a bike, on Thursday joined the 'Pawri Ho Rahi Hai' trend.

The actor took the e-challan sportingly. In the video, the actor, flashing a smile, flaunted his bikes before showing the fine. "Yeh hum hai, yeh hamari bikes hai aur yeh hamari pawti kat gayi hai," Oberoi said in the video.

Tagging Mumbai Police in the video, the 'Saathiya' actor urged his fans to stay safe and wear helmets and masks.




So why was he fined by the Mumbai Police?

Well, the 44-year-old actor, on Valentine's Day; took his new bike out for a ride with his wife Priyanka. The actor shared a video of the spin with his fans on social media, grabbing the unwanted attention of Mumbai Police and soon, an FIR was filed against him for riding without a helmet and a mask. The actor was then served an e-challan.

In the video, that caused the trouble for the actor, Oberoi was seen riding off on a Harley Davidson on the empty roads of Mumbai on the night of February 14.

As the actor owned up and took the fine with a pinch of humour, Twitterati were in awe. "Wow... So gracefully accepting the mistake and paying fine," one user replied to the actor.

While another user urged the 'Company' star to make a sequel to 'Saathiya'.
