Paul Bettany and James Spader return to MCU

Bettany reprises his role as Vision, continuing a character journey that took a major turn in WandaVision in 2021. The actor first entered the MCU as the voice of Tony Stark’s AI assistant, J.A.R.V.I.S., before appearing as Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

James Spader also returns as Ultron, the artificial-intelligence villain he voiced in the 2015 film. This time, Ultron is connected to the AI personas within Vision’s system, placing him in a different position in the story.
