The OTT space is getting another busy week, with fresh stories arriving across languages and platforms. From a romantic drama led by Suriya to Malayalam revenge tales, a Telugu investigation and a film-industry comedy, there is plenty to choose from. If you are planning a movie night at home, these five releases could be worth adding to your watchlist.

Vishwanath & Sons – Netflix

Suriya and Mamitha Baiju headline Vishwanath & Sons, a Tamil romantic drama directed by Venky Atluri. The film follows Sanjay Vishwanath, a successful industrialist who chooses an independent life and later becomes a father through surrogacy. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Maddy, a medical student who slowly becomes close to his family.

Their relationship develops despite their age difference, but the story takes a different route instead of giving them a conventional romantic ending. Years later, Maddy returns after completing her education, bringing Sanjay and his child back into her life. Vishwanath & Sons, which also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Sunil Reddy, Harika, Nassar and Rajiv Menon, will stream on Netflix from September 11, 2026.

Varavu – ZEE5

If action and revenge dramas are more your thing, Varavu could be an interesting addition to the weekend lineup. The Malayalam film stars Joju George as Polachan, a wealthy planter who returns to his home in Kerala's high ranges after spending time in prison. His homecoming does not exactly bring peace, as old rivalries and unresolved conflicts quickly come back into focus.

Directed by Shaji Kailas, the film is set in a misty plantation town controlled by a powerful land-owning family. Rather than relying only on elaborate action sequences, the story focuses on family tensions, survival and revenge. Vani Viswanath and Murali Gopy are also part of the cast, while AK Sajan has written the screenplay. Varavu will make its OTT debut on ZEE5 on September 11, 2026.

Panchanama – ZEE5

Panchanama brings a mystery-driven action thriller to the OTT lineup. The Telugu film follows Jai, a brilliant officer who refuses to accept the official explanation surrounding the death of a young boy close to him. What initially appears to be an accident soon raises several questions, pushing him to investigate further.

As Jai digs deeper, he comes across hidden secrets, unexplained incidents and influential people who appear determined to keep the truth buried. The investigation gradually turns into a much bigger battle as he tries to connect the pieces. Bharath Srinivasan leads the cast, which also includes Sivaji, Medha Reddy, Charan Babu, Rupa Lakshmi, Radhika Priti, Surya and Srija. Directed by Mohan Srivatsa, Panchanama will stream on ZEE5 from September 11, 2026.

Prince Of Mollywood – JioHotstar

What happens when an aspiring actor has to convince a wealthy father that becoming a film star is actually a good idea? That is the central conflict in Prince Of Mollywood, a Malayalam comedy-drama led by Dain Davis.

Davis plays Firoz, a young man who dreams of making it big in the film industry despite resistance from his father. His ambition, however, is only one part of the chaos, as friends and family members add their own complications to his plans. The show also features Vidhya Vijayakumar, Nirmal Palazhi, Harishma, Fukru and Aswin Vijayan. Directed by Shani Khader, Prince Of Mollywood will premiere on JioHotstar on September 11, 2026.

Magudam – Prime Video

Vishal steps behind the camera for the first time with Magudam, a Tamil action drama that combines family conflict with a story spread across different timelines. The film revolves around Linga, a powerful figure who builds an empire in Visakhapatnam from 1965 onwards, and his estranged son Kirubakaran, who leads a quieter middle-class life.

Their worlds collide again after a major incident affects Kiruba's family. Linga's return brings buried emotions and a complicated past back into the picture, setting up the central father-son conflict. Vishal stars alongside Anjali, Dushara Vijayan, Mayah Prem, Ashwin Madhavan, John Vijay, Jayaprakash, Java Sundaresan, Thambi Ramaiah and Ajay. Directed by Vishal, Magudam will arrive on Prime Video on September 11, 2026.

With all five titles arriving on the same day, September 11 is shaping up to be a particularly busy day for OTT viewers. Whether you prefer romance, action, mystery, comedy or family drama, there is something across Netflix, ZEE5, JioHotstar and Prime Video to fill up the watchlist.
