Virgin Boys OTT release locked: When and where to watch the Telugu A-rated comedy movie

The Telugu A-rated comedy Virgin Boys, which quietly made its way into theatres on July 11 and surprised many with its box office performance. The film is now all set to make its digital debut. Directed by Dayanand Gaddam, the film will officially stream on Aha and OTTplay Premium on August 15, this year.

Despite minimal pre-release buzz, Virgin Boys managed to attract its target audience, mostly the youth, with its bold storyline and light-hearted humour. Dayanand Gaddam's directorial venture received decent footfalls in cinemas and was appreciated for its unapologetic take on adult comedy, a genre rarely explored in Telugu cinema.


The digital rights of Virgin Boys were acquired by Aha for a good price, prompting an early OTT release. This also hints at a change in the platform’s content strategy, as Aha begins to cater more to younger viewers interested in adult-themed content.

The story, though adult in nature, is told with clarity and purpose, delivering both laughs and surprise moments.

Mithraaw Sharma plays one of the lead roles, and her screen presence has been one of the film’s highlights. Actor Srihan also received appreciation for his comic timing, especially in the second half of the film, which many consider the stronger part.

With its over-the-top humour, spicy dialogues, and a no-holds-barred approach, Virgin Boys is strictly meant for audiences who enjoy masala comedies with a bold flavour.
