Virat Kohli unveils website, 3D animated character

Virat Kohli’s branding team launched his website logo and a 3D animated character based on the cricketer on Monday. Kohli, who ended his run of poor scores with consistent displays in the recent series against Sri Lanka, unveiled the mascot and the logo.

The 3D animated character was developed by Cornerstone Sport & Entertainment Pvt Ltd in association with the Miamibased Motion Pixel Corporation.

Kohli’s 3D version has two avatars, the cricketer and the superhero. The thought process behind the character, Jogesh Lulla, Director, New Media, CSE, said, “We couldn’t think of anyone more aspirational who could be portrayed as a super hero other than Virat. The character will increase brand value and extension for our partners and also help Virat and his brands to connect better with children.”

Next, maybe the designers need to create an animated version of a certain Bollywood heroine.
