Virat Kohli takes a 'WROGN' turn
Virat Kohli is in the news again. And, this time, it’s not for his love life but his style statement. Kohli, along with Anjana Reddy’s Universal Sportsbiz (USPL), launched his men’s casual wear brand WROGN in Mumbai on Thursday.

Kohli is one of the fashionable sportsmen in the country. Reddy even says that his style quotient is as high as David Beckham or Cristiano Ronaldo. Hence, it made sense to do a clothing line with him.

“We have been working with Virat for the last two years for merchandise and memorabilia,” Reddy told ETPanache. “So we have a great working relation with him. We thought why don’t we extend this association to something bigger.” WROGN is the first fashion brand USPL has launched. It will unveil a women’s clothing line with a Bollywood celebrity in February 2015.

Reddy said that the Virat range has the kind of “clothes that he would wear.” She says the cricketer didn’t have many conditions about colours, but was particular about the fit, garment and the details. The average price of the clothes is `1700. The brand has tied up with online and offline partners — Myntra and Shopper’s Stop.
