Virat Kohli purchases fourth luxury Audi at 2 crore

NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli's love for speed has seen him add a swanky new car to his already eye-popping collection, with India's Test captain acquiring an Audi A8L W12 Quattro on Monday. The price? A whopping Rs 2 crore.

Kohli, who from Thursday in Mohali will lead India in his first Test match at home, picked up the car in the north Indian city with Joe King, Audi India Head at Mohali, handing over the keys. This latest acquisition is Kohli's fourth from the luxury Audi stable, with previous purchases including the R8, R8 LMX limited edition, and Q7 variants.

The latest variation of Audi's flagships sedan line, the new A8L serves as a step up choice from the base A8 and features a more aggressive appearance and impressive selection of comfort and convenience touches. The car comes equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and has a more modest 450 HP capacity and 444 lb-ft of torque.
