As Virushka fans go on an overdrive, actress denies wedding rumours

MUMBAI: Reports of actor Anushka Sharma getting married to Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli next week sent fans into a frenzy on Wednesday.

However, the Bollywood star's spokesperson put the rumours to rest, calling them untrue. The denial came after several news channels reported that the couple was likely to tie the knot between December 9-12 in Milan.

An Italian wedding was speculated, with the functions being spread across four days starting from December 9.



Earlier reports had suggested that the couple plans to have a high-profile destination wedding, with their close friends and relatives attending the ceremony.

Reports about the duo's December wedding had started doing the rounds earlier this year, but there hasn't been any confirmation about the news from the couple.

The couple was recently seen together dancing at cricketer Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge's wedding last week. Sharma also accompanied beau Kohli to the Indian Sports Awards, which he launched in partnership with the RP-SG group.
