Books and cricket keep Vimal Sumbly stress-free
Humming to the beats of Pink Floyd and The Beatles aside, Vimal Sumbly’s idea of a relaxing day away from work is to either pick up a book or a cricket bat. The MD of Triumph Motorcycles says that while he loves to play cricket, he finds maximum solace in a good book.

The biking enthusiast’s library is stocked mostly with management books, but the one he keeps going back to is Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead. He tells ETPanache why.

“The book inspires and teaches me so much like for instance, typically, you may feel that you have to own a luxury product to experience the power of luxury. But Rand’s idea is that you can experience it all the same by just wanting to own it,” Sumbly says.
