Vimage is a play on two words, video and image. The app lets you enhance photos by overlaying a looped video effect.

There are over 30 video effects to choose from. To edit a photo, you just need to import it into the app.


We liked that the app also lets you select photos from Google Drive and Google Photos apart from your phone’s internal storage.

You can adjust brightness, saturation contrast and hue. Next, you can choose the type of video effect you want to add — you can see a preview of the effect before finalising it.

Keep in mind that when you select an effect for the first time, the app downloads it to your device first. You can place the effect animation anywhere on the photo, flip it, adjust hue/saturation as well as increase or decrease the size of the effect.

Note, that there is a watermark on the image which can be removed with a one-time in-app purchase of Rs 49.
