See the special video announcement of Vikrant Massey & Deepak Dobriyal starrer 'Sector 36'

A crime-thriller starring Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal called 'Sector 36' is currently on the floors. Massey is known for his Netflix film 'Haseen Dillruba' while Dobriyal is a veteran actor who was part of films like 'Omkara', 'Gulaal', 'Dabangg 2' and 'Tanu Weds Manu' franchise.

The shoot of the film started on Monday and will be produced by Maddock Films which has previously made films like Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiui starrer revenge drama 'Badlapur', as well as Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy 'Stree' and the Kriti Sanon-starrer comedy-drama 'Mimi' for which the actress recently bagged the Best Actress Award at the 22nd edition of IIFA.

The makers announced the film through a special video. "The video builds a sense of curiosity using the analogy of a cockroach that decides to stand up against the system. As we discover what happens to the roach in the end, one is truly intrigued with the suspense surrounding this film!" says an IANS report.


'Sector 36' is directed by 'Talvar' writer Aditya Nimbalkar, written by Bodhayan Roychaudhury and produced by Dinesh Vijan.
