Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna often paint the town red with their sweet gestures and pictures. Though the duo has been rumoured to be dating for years, neither has officially confirmed their relationship. But if their recent US trip is anything to go by, fans have more than enough reasons to believe that love is indeed in the air. From adorable nickname exchanges to on-stage moments and candid interviews, their chemistry is once again stealing hearts across the internet.

What nicknames did Vijay and Rashmika give each other?

The actors were in the US recently as Grand Marshals at the 43rd India Day Parade, where they were seen attending events, interacting with fans, and sharing plenty of heartwarming moments. In one such viral video from a fan meet-and-greet, Vijay was seen sweetly calling Rashmika "Rushie" while speaking to a fan in Telugu. The moment has gone viral, with fans cooing over the nickname.

But it doesn’t stop there, turns out, Rashmika has her own pet name for Vijay. In 2024 interview on No Filter Neha, the Pushpa actress revealed she calls him “Vijju”, a name that fans are now finding equally sweet. She added that she admires how easy and effortless things are between them.


At the India Day Parade event, Rashmika also lit up the stage by dancing to her chartbuster Saami Saami. Vijay, however, playfully avoided joining her on stage, stepping aside with a smile as she grooved with backup dancers.

Adding to this, Vijay’s parents were also part of the US trip, which marked the pair’s first public outing together in quite some time. Though neither of them acknowledged the dating rumours directly, these joint appearances continue to fuel speculation among fans.
