This incident occurred seven years after claims emerged about their involvement in an alleged sexual assault of a minor. A lawsuit recently filed claims that Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and Combs were involved in the rape of a 13-year-old girl at an afterparty following the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2000. This civil complaint asserts that multiple individuals were present at the event, yet none intervened to stop the alleged assault.
