Video of gift - featuring 108 gold bells & Goddess Durga's 9 avatars - for Isha Ambani & Anand Piramal's daughter Aadiya go viral

A video and pictures of an extraordinary gift, specially designed for Reliance Retail Director Isha Ambani and Piramal Group's Anand Piramal's baby girl Aadiya has been doing the rounds on social media.

Ambani-Piramal became parents for the first time when they welcomed their twins in November last year.

A local gifting service Gifts Tell All took to Instagram to share a brief video of the extravagant gift.


Aadiya means 'First Power' or 'Shakti', and is also one of the names of Goddess Durga. The gift features Aadiya Shakti in Devanagari. The gift designer said that the "theme behind Aadiya came from her beautiful and auspicious name, Shakti."

Featuring nine steps, the exuberant hamper denotes the name of Goddess Shakti and its meaning. The nine steps are dedicated to Shailaputri (Daughter of the mountain), Brahmacharini (Mother of devotion and penance), Chandraghanta (Destroyer of demons), Kushmanda (Goddess of The Cosmic Egg), Skandamata (Goddess of motherhood and children), Katyayani (Goddess of Power), Kalaratri (Goddess of Auspiciousness and Courage), Mahagauri (Goddess of Beauty and Women) and Siddhidhatri (Goddess of Supernatural Powers or Siddhis).

The present was beautified with 108 gold bells that represent 108 chants, and gods and goddesses. "The bells hold the power of the mighty in the most beautiful possible way," Gifts Tell All's Instagram post read.

The beautiful gift was painted using red and orange sindoor and decorated using fresh marigold flowers. It also features a drawer at the bottom for storage

The short video that went viral also showed a glimpse of the baby cot designed for the twins. The baby crib-cum-swing, with their customised names, features a tree made with peacock feathers.

It was not known who the gifts were from. The Ambanis are religious and never miss a chance to visit temples across the country. It is believed that the Ambani home ‘Antilia’ has a spacious temple where the family meets for religious events.

Last month, billionaire Mukesh Ambani's son Akash and wife Shloka Mehta welcomed their second child, a baby girl, however, they didn't reveal the name of their daughter. They welcomed their two-year-old son Prithvi in December 2020.
