From a 'naive' fashion rookie to worth $130 mn, Victoria Beckham's come a long way
Beckham recently said that despite her passion she didn’t know too much about the industry when she started.

The behemoth fashion industry has chewed up and spat out thousands of designers, but one former musician-turned-fashion-designer has stuck on, and she says its thanks to one simple principle — don’t focus on what you don’t know.
At a women’s summit in New York, Victoria Beckham confessed that despite her passion she didn’t know too much about the fashion industry when she started.
“I think I was quite innocent and naïve. There was a lot that I didn’t know. (But) I liked the fact because I probably would have been terrified,” she says, recalling her first showing in a New York hotel suite.
That honesty and freshness seems to have paid off . Beckham’s international fashion brand was valued at $130 million recently.
Looking back at the decade-long journey, Beckham said, “Knowing what I know now, would I have had the guts to do what I did then? Probably not.”
