HYDERABAD: Veteran singer S P Balasubrahmanyam has taken on the role of advisor and mentor for an equity stake in Hyderabad-based startup Yuktha Entertainment Services which has created an app to book celebrities, performing artists and entertainers.

The app JilMore is currently available on Android and has a registered base of 120 artists on the portal. “We will also create a panel of four to five judges to ensure that the artists possess a benchmark of talent. I will also be the brand ambassador of the venture,” said S P Balasubrahmanyam at the launch of the app. He added that the platform helps talented professionals reach out to a larger audience base.

Founded by Saradhi Babu Rasala, the app has raised a friends and family round of Rs 50 lakh and will currently focus on on-boarding performers and artists from Telangama and Andhra Pradesh. “We plan on raising a round of USD 1 million (Rs 6.6 crores) by March 2016 from US based investors,” added Saradhi Babu.
