Lakshmi Venu, daughter of TVS Motor Chairman, ties the knot with N G Ranga's great grandson

CHENNAI: Lakshmi Venu, the daughter of TVS Motor Company Chairman Venu Srinivasan and TAFE Chairman Mallika Srinivasan, married Mahesh Gogineni, a tech entrepreneur and great grandson of N G Ranga, president of the Swatantra Party and a Padma Vibhushan awardee in a private ceremony in Jodhpur on Thursday.

Mahesh Gogineni, son of Suguna and Kamalendra Gogineni is a graduate from BITS Pilani and London School of Economics, and an MBA from Stanford University. Based out of Bengaluru, Mahesh is currently managing his start-up, Gifskey after a successful exit from his previous venture. Mahesh has also co-founded two other start-ups, emojifi and ZapLuk.

Lakshmi, the granddaughter of TS Srinivasan (TVS) and A Sivasailam is the managing director of Sundaram Clayton Limited (SCL) and director of TAFE Motors and Tractor. She holds a Doctorate from the University of Warwick and is a graduate in Economics from Yale University. She is known for SCL’s entry into the US market with the setting up of a Greenfield factory in Charleston, South Carolina, to make high pressure die-cast and gravity cast parts.
