Vashu Bhagnani plans a 'Welcome 2' series
Even though "Welcome 2 Karachi" (W2K) has just released, Vashu Bhagnani is already mulling over turning his latest offering into a series.

However, the producer admits that he is playing with the thought.
That having been shared, we have veterans from the industry who have collaborated with Vashu in the past and who believe that he is fully capable of pulling off a series. After all, he is the man who pulled off successes such as the No 1 series of Biwi No 1, Coolie No 1, Jodi No 1 and Hero No 1. Says Amitabh Bachchan, "I've worked with Vashu as a producer of a comedy film and have found him to be a very handson producer, caring for his artistes and liberal in comforts and needs of the project he undertakes."
But at the moment, it's the positive response to Welcome 2 Karachi that's keeping Vashu occupied. Says David Dhawan, "W2K reminds me of two-hero films which I used to make, for instance the Govinda-Sanjay Dutt films. Jackky Bhagnani has done a splendid job and so has Arshad Warsi. They both are like a house on fire. The film has managed to create a good buzz and I'm sure it will do well."
Adds Anil Kapoor, "Wishing W2K all the success. It's sure to be a hit."
Welcome 2 Karachi released yesterday.
